Assault update
Kingston Police have today released further information about the man still wanted for assaulting a 15 year old girl in the Peter Murrell Reserve off Algona Road near Blackmans Bay on the afternoon of Thursday 20 January 2011.
“The man we’re looking for may have a bite mark on his arm which he sustained during the incident,” said Inspector Doug Rossiter, of Kingston Police.
Inspector Rossiter said that at the time of the incident the man was wearing navy blue work trousers which were spattered with white paint, an olive green jumper and a balaclava.
Police are looking for a man:
- Aged in his late twenties – early thirties
- 5’10” (177cm) to 6’0” (183cm) tall and of medium build
- Olive or tanned complexion
- Brown hair and some facial hair
Police would also like to speak to the driver of a white Holden Commodore station wagon with mag wheels which was seen in the closed section of Algona Roadaround the time of the incident.
Police would still like to hear from anybody who was in the Peter Murrell Reserve on Thursday afternoon.
“These people could have information which may seem insignificant but might assist the investigation,” said Inspector Rossiter.
