Assault on a Taxi Driver West Moonah
Officers from Glenorchy CIB are investigating an assault on a taxi driver at about 11:00pm on Sunday 4 May 2014, near Springfield Gardens Primary School, West Moonah.
The taxi driver picked up 3 men, wearing hoodies, near the Polish Club on New Town Road about 10:45pm. The men were driven to Ashbourne Grove, West Moonah, near the Springfield Gardens Primary School, where they assaulted the driver.
The driver has described the men as possibly being of African appearance.
One of the group was taller than his two companions and was very strong in appearance. One of the men was wearing a distinctive Fedora or races style hat (grey to dark in colour) and tinted glasses.
