Approximately 3am on Thursday 11^th August 2016, a property was entered in Grass Tree Hill Road, Richmond where a number of vehicles were broken into. During the incident, the elderly property owner approached a number of male offenders and as a result was assaulted.

The elderly property owner received serious injuries to his head and arms and required hospitalisation.

The male offenders are believed to be aged in their late teens, one of whom is suspected to have sustained an injury to his face or head.
