Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed an assault upon a woman, on King Street, Sandy Bay in the vicinity of Lasswade Avenue. The incident occurred around 10pm on Sunday the 19th of January 2014.

The suspect is a white Australian male approximately 170cm tall, medium build, wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper, dark coloured jeans and dirty white Dunlop Volley shoes.

He was last seen running down King Street towards Parliament Street Park.

Police would like to hear from anyone that may have seen a man matching this description in the area on Sunday night.
