At 10.30am Friday 11 May 2012 members of Swansea Police Station located and arrested 18 year old Ashley Detention Centre escapee Samuel Troy Leslie hiding on the beach near Swansea. He was transported to Launceston Police Station by detectives from Launceston CIB and appeared in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions at 2.15pm.
