About 11.50pm on Monday 23 August 2010 Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police were called to a house fire at Harding Place, Herdsmans Cove.

The fire was extinguished by the Tasmania Fire Service. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Damage to the house was extensive and the estimated damage is $80,000.

A fire scene examination of the house has been conducted and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
