At 2220 on Thursday the 1 January 2015 Police and the Tasmanian Fire Service attended a structure fire at a unit situated on Faraday Street, Ravenswood.

The unit was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured.

From initial investigations it appears as though the unit was unlawfully entered prior to the fire via a front glass sliding door. Damage is estimated at approximately $45,000.00
