A 55-year-old St Leonards man has been charged with Arson, following a structure fire at a residence on Tasman Highway, Waverley on 23^rd June.

At around 3:45pm on Friday 23^rd June, Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police were notified of a structure fire on the Tasman Highway, Waverley.

Subsequent investigations found that the fire had been deliberately lit. The fire caused approximately $120,000 damage.

The man appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court and was bailed to appear again in September.
