At 10.00 am on Tuesday the 4^th December 2012, Tasmania Police attended a unit fire at Andrew Street, New Norfolk.  Tasmania Fire Service also attended and extinguished the fire.

The residence is owned by Housing Tasmania and was completely destroyed.  The estimated value of the damage is $80,000. 

A 46 year old male has been charged with Arson and detained for Court.
