ARSON, ARUNTA CRESCENT CHIGWELL

At approximately 12:15am on Wednesday 19^th February, Tasmanian Fire Service received multiple calls regarding a structure fire at Arunta Crescent Chigwell.

On arrival the weatherboard conjoined residence was well alight.  At the time of the fire, two occupants were inside the residence, both escaped without injury.  Early indications suggest that the fire was deliberately lit, damage is estimated to be in the vicinity of $220,000.

Glenorchy Criminal Investigation Branch would like to speak with any person who may have knowledge of the fire or any information relating to it.
