On the 11^th February 2018, at around 01.50am, Tasmania police responded to an arson at 14 Cowle Road, Bridgewater. The fire was contained to a front bedroom and the damage, at this stage, is estimated to be around $8000.

Detectives from Glenorchy Criminal Investigation Branch conducted a number of inquiries throughout the day in relation to the matter.

A twenty seven year old female from Bridgewater has been charged with arson in relation to this and will re appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.

Investigations are still continuing in relation to the arson committed at 14 Gangell Place, Herdsmans Cove.

Police are urging members of the public who have any information regarding this or other arsons to contact their local police stations.
