On 13 December 2018 there was a shooting in Albion Road, Bridgewater where a 26 year old Bridgewater man was wounded.

On the morning of 31 December 2018 officers from Bridgewater and Glenorchy C.I.B attended an address in Bridgewater to conduct a search relating the incident as a result of investigations conducted.

Two men aged 20 years and 35 years both from Bridgewater were arrested at the residence without issue and charged with wounding and firearm related offences.

They have been held to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday 1 January 2019.
