Police are seeking information about an Armed Robbery committed at the York Hotel, Main Road, Granton.

Around 10:08am today, Tuesday 11 February 2014, a man approached a staff member outside the front of the hotel on the Main Road, brandishing a knife.

The offender is described as being about 183 cm tall, slim build, with close cropped hair or shaved head, aged between 20 – 30 years old. He was wearing a blue top.

The offender fled the area in possession of a quantity of cash.

No one suffered any physical injury.
