Armed Robbery – United Service Station – Bellerive

ECIB are continuing to investigate the Armed Robbery at the United Service Station, Bellerive that occurred on 29th June 2012.
The attached photo depicts a scarf left at the scene by the offender.
The male offender is described as being around 175cm in height, thin build, wearing black clothing, a blue cap and a green/yellow scarf, with white/silver sneakers. His face was concealed by a piece of fabric and he wore grey gloves.
Police are requesting the assistance of the public who may have seen a person matching the description of the offender or who recognise the scarf depicted in the photo. Please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.

At 8:57pm on Friday 29 June 2012, a male entered the United Service Station in Cambridge Road, Bellerive armed with a large knife. He threatened the lone attendant and made off with a sum of money.
Police attended the scene and conducted an extensive search of the immediate area within minutes of the crime, however they were unable to locate the offender.
The male offender is described as being around 175cm in height, thin build, wearing black clothing, a blue cap and a green/yellow scarf, with white/silver sneakers. His face was concealed by a piece of fabric and he wore grey gloves.
Forensic Services attended and conducted a detailed inspection of the scene and Eastern District CIB attended and are continuing to investigate the crime.
