At around 4:00pm on Saturday 23 November 2019 there was an armed robbery at a home in Rocherlea.

A male suspect has entered the house armed with two bricks, threatened the occupant and taken the keys to his vehicle, before using the keys to steal the vehicle.

The occupant and the suspect were well known to each other.

The stolen vehicle was located on fire at Stony Head several hours later amongst a vegetation fire in that location.

Police are continuing investigations into the matter.
