Armed Robbery of Taxi Driver – Summerhill

Police are currently investigating the report of an armed robbery of a taxi driver that occurred shortly before 7am on Thursday the 4th of February 2016 in Kerry Court, Summerhill.

 

The driver was threatened with a knife and money demanded from him. He was not injured as a result of the incident, but the offenders allegedly took $150 in cash.

 

The offenders, described as two men aged in their late teens – early twenties and wearing black and grey hooded jumpers respectively, were last seen fleeing on foot towards Hardwicke Street, Summerhill.
