Armed Robbery – Domino’s Pizza Burnie

Tasmania Police are currently investigating an armed robbery which occurred about 11.00 pm on Friday the 29th of July 2020, whereby a 31-year-old woman who was delivering pizzas for Domino’s in View Road at Burnie was approached by a younger male who was holding a knife. The male has assaulted the victim whilst demanding cash from her. The male has stolen a quantity of cash and the pizzas from the victim before running off.

The victim was no injured as a result of the assault.

Members from Burnie Uniform attended the scene and investigations are ongoing.

The suspect is described as being in his early twenties, caucasian, about 175cm tall, slim build wearing a black balaclava, a black hat, black trousers and a black jumper.

Police would like to reassure the public that this appears to be an isolated incident.
