As a result of the investigations conducted immediately after the incident by Uniform Police on Sunday evening, and from continuing enquiries by Hobart CIB, several searches have been conducted and numerous arrests have been made.

These include: 

• An 18 year old male from Glenorchy was arrested. He was formally charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of motor vehicle stealing. He was detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court this afternoon.
• A 14 year old male from Primrose Sands was arrested. He will be proceeded against via the Youth Justice Act in relation to one count of armed robbery, one count of aggravated burglary, one count of stealing, and one count of motor vehicle stealing.
•  A 28 year old male from Lutana was arrested, and released without charge at this stage of the investigation.
•  A 21 year old male from Berriedale was arrested, and released without charge at this stage of the investigation.

Police are currently following a specific line of enquiry and anticipate that further charges will be laid.

Hobart CIB would like to speak to anyone who may have information on the robbery or the stolen vehicle used in the crime. The vehicle was a red Ford Focus.
