Glenorchy CIB is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Culloden takeaway store in Lutana shortly before 7.00am this morning (10/3/11).

Two male offenders, with their faces covered, entered the store armed with a knife.  They have stolen an amount of cigarettes and left the area in a vehicle travelling in a northerly direction.

Detective Constable Cary Millhouse would like to speak to anyone that may be able to assist in the investigation and encourages members of the public to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Glenorchy CIB on 6230 2836, particularly if they are offered cigarettes for sale.
