Detectives from Devonport CIB have been investigating an approach made to an 11 year old girl outside the Devonport Sports Stadium on Friday the 10 May 2013.

Enquiries have identified a male who is believed to have spoken to the girl. 

Detective Sergeant Foster said that “While the child in question was frightened by the approach, police are satisfied there were no nefarious intentions on the part of the male speaking to the child.”
