Appeal for assistance with finding missing person – Andrew Jarman

Missing Person - Andrew JarmanPolice are continuing to investigate the whereabouts of Latrobe man Andrew John Jarman.

35 year old Mr Jarman failed to return home after going for a bicycle ride on Sunday, 19 August 2012, in the Latrobe area.

Police and Mr Jarman’s family are very concerned for his welfare.

Mr Jarman is 180cm tall and of medium build. He has short dark hair with a moustache and beard with several days’ growth. He has brown eyes and a ruddy complexion.

He is believed to be wearing a white top with a red/white/blue jumper, dark blue pants and a cap with the letter “b” on it. He was riding a white “Cyclops” mountain bike and was wearing a red/black “Met” brand bicycle helmet.

To date, neither Mr. Jarman or his bicycle has been located.

Tasmania Police are requesting that any member of the public who may have any information that relates to the possible whereabouts of Mr. Jarman or his bicycle, contacts them on 131 444 or through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

It could be possible that someone may have located his bicycle on the side of a road, or somewhere else; and do not realise the significance of that fact. 

Members of the public are reminded that they may be entitled to a reward of up to $2,000 for any information that they provide through Crime Stoppers, that assists with locating Mr. Jarman or his bicycle.
