Angela Jeffrey – Missing Person Update 10 June

The search for missing Penguin woman Angela Joy Jeffrey has been reviewed. Police will continue to conduct recovery operations during the long weekend in the hope of providing her family with greater certainty about the circumstances of her disappearance.

Police remain in contact with Angela’s family, who have been informed that police will be undertaking these operations on Sunday and Monday.

“Sadly, despite our considerable efforts we must be realistic that there is little hope of finding Angela alive. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this very difficult time,” Senior Sergeant Debbie Williams said.

Mrs Jeffrey, 53, was last seen at her Penguin home on Wednesday, 1 June, and her vehicle was located in the State Forest off Browns Creek Road, Bakers Beach, on 3 June.

Police would like to thank the overwhelming number of generous volunteers who have assisted in the search for Angela, and urge anyone continuing to search to carefully consider their own safety, particularly with the current adverse weather conditions.
