Alleged outlaw motorcycle gang associate charged with drug trafficking

A 37 year old Miandetta man has been charged with a range of drug offences including trafficking in a controlled substance following a police operation at a Miandetta residence today.

 

A search of the premises  was conducted and a number of drug related items and cash was seized.

 

The man was charged with drug offences including trafficking in a controlled substance, which relates to the alleged sale of 425g of methylamphetamine, which has a street value of at least $120,000.

 

The man – an alleged associate of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang – was detained and will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court after-hours tonight.

 

“We will continue to target people who distribute drugs and illicit substances, which causes significant harm to the community,” Detective Senior Sergeant Martin Parker said.

 

“Distribution of drugs has the potential to encourage criminal activity, anti-social behaviour, and breaches of our laws.”
