Aggravated burglary at Upper Blessington

Northern detectives are investigating an alleged aggravated burglary that occurred at a rural property at Upper Blessington yesterday afternoon.

 

At about 4pm yesterday (Sunday 26 February 2017), two male offenders entered a rural property at Upper Blessington and stolen some jewellery and other property.  The offenders have then left the area in a stolen motor vehicle.

 

The two male offenders were located shortly later on Camden Road at Upper Blessington in the stolen motor vehicle by a family member from the rural property that had been burgled.

 

During a confrontation with the two male offenders the family member has been assaulted and his vehicle damaged.  The male offenders have then left the area.

 

The stolen motor vehicle was located in bushland at the rear of the Dover Village about 6.30pm.

 

Police are seeking public assistance regarding the identity of the two male offenders involved in these offences.

 

The first offender is described as being in his mid 20’s, tall, slim athletic build, facial hair and dark hair that was cut pretty short/or crew cut, wearing a dark t-shirt and possibly jeans.

 

The second offender is male, possibly wearing glasses, curly hair, possibly reasonably tall.
