Kingston CIB is currently investigating a significant home burglary that occurred in Grange Avenue, Taroona during the evening of Saturday 3^rd November.

After gaining entry to the premises, offenders have forcibly removed a safe that contained a quantity of very identifiable jewellery. The safe would have weighed around 20kgs and needed to be carried from the premises, possibly to a vehicle parked on the Channel Highway or in the Grange Avenue area.

Suspicious activity was also reported in Utiekah Avenue, Taroona on Friday night, and investigators believe there may be a connection.

Police would like to hear from any person in the Taroona or Lower Sandy Bay area who may have noticed any vehicles or persons that appeared out of the ordinary in recent times. Any information can be passed directly to Kingston CIB on 6211 8004 or to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
