Police are investigating an aggravated armed robbery that occurred around 07:10am on Sunday 16 April in West Launceston.

Two male offenders wearing dark clothing and with their faces covered have approached the 69-year-old male victim in the driveway of his property, before threatening him with what is believed to have been a small handgun.  The male offenders have then removed valuables from the victim’s car before running in to bushland near the home.  The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries during a struggle with one of the offenders and was treated at the Launceston General Hospital.
