Police are investigating an aggravated armed robbery that occurred at Rokeby at about 10:45pm last night.

The occupants of a house in Duntroon Drive were at home when two people entered the house through the front door, which was unlocked.  One person had a long arm firearm.

The second person was armed with a long garden implement that was inside the residence.

The offenders demanded cash, which was provided, and discharged the firearm causing a wound to one of the home’s occupants. The wound is not life threatening.

Police are seeking assistance from anyone who may have seen activity, vehicles or people in the area at the relevant time.
