Aggravated Armed Robbery Derwent Tavern Bridgewater

At 7.10pm on Thursday 30th May 2013 two males entered the Derwent Tavern on Old Main Road at Bridgewater.  One of the males was armed with a firearm.  The males stole a quantity of cash from the TOTE gaming area before fleeing the Tavern. 

The vehicle used by the offenders was an early 90’s model Holden Commodore.  The vehicle was white in colour but was poorly hand painted black.

The offenders are described as:

Offender 1:  175 – 180cm tall and of average build, wearing white sandshoes, dark blue/black overalls, white gloves, black hooded jumper underneath the overalls, and a dark green balaclava.

Offender 2:  175 – 180cm tall of stocky build wearing blue 1 piece disposable overalls with a hood, white shoes, dark gloves, dark balaclava carrying a firearm.

A number of patrons and staff were present but no persons were injured during this incident.  Police are appealing to members of the public for any information they have in relation to this robbery, in particular information relating to the vehicle used.
