Aggravated Armed Robbery – Arrests

At 6pm on Monday 25 October 2010 two men entered the rear of the Geoff Noar Pharmacy at 33 Lincoln Street, Lindisfarne, armed with a firearm and wearing balaclavas. Two staff were the only people in the Pharmacy at the time.

The two men demanded prescription medications and money before leaving with a quantity of medication. Neither staff member sustained physical injury during the robbery.

As a result of investigations conducted by the Eastern District Criminal Investigation Branch, on the evening of Thursday the 28 October 2010, three adult males were arrested in relation to this matter and detained for court on Friday 29 October 2010.  A 25 year old male was charged in relation to the Aggravated Armed Robbery and all three were charged in relation to nine counts of possess a controlled drug.
