On 2 September 2011, a house at 9 Gangell Place was damaged by fire.  Two male youths have been charged for causing the damage on this occasion. 

On Monday 12 September 2011, members from Eastern Criminal Investigation Branch charged an adult male also involved in the arson.   The man will appear in court at a later date.

The house has sustained extensive damage because of fire and has been the target of three separate attacks. 

The estimated cost of damage was in excess of $50,000.
