57-year-old Invermay man charged with drug trafficking
A man was charged with drug trafficking and more than $15,000 worth of cannabis was seized from an Invermay residence yesterday after police acted on information provided by the public.
Officers from the Ravenswood, Newnham and Launceston police stations searched the residence and seized 1.6kg of cannabis.
The man (aged 57) was charged with several offences including, possessing, using and cultivating a controlled plant and trafficking in a controlled substance.
He was bailed to appear at the Launceston Magistrates Court on June 17, 2015.
