48 year old male from Kettering charged with high range drink driving
On Saturday the 18 November 2023 police attended a single vehicle crash at Kettering. As a result of the crash a 48-year-old male was charged with drink driving, having returned a reading of 0.279, some five times the legal limit.
The male driver did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
The reading is high range, and Tasmania Police want to remind members of the community of the dangers of drinking alcohol and driving.
The male was bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court in January and was served with an immediate disqualification from driving for 12 months.
