A 35 year old Howrah woman has today been charged with one count of wounding and one count of selling a controlled drug.  The charges relate to an incident that occurred at the Brooker Inn at 3:30pm on 6 May 2016.  A 33 year old Glenorchy man was involved in the incident during which he received a single stab wound to the chest.  The Victim remains in the Royal Hobart Hospital in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police would like to reassure members of the public that this was an isolated incident with both parties being known to each other.
