Helicopter Rescue – Wild Dog Creek, Walls Of Jerusalem (13-March)

At approximately 9:40am on Thursday 13/3/14 Tasmania Police Search and Rescue received a request for assistance from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. Three walking group leaders, working as tour guides for Australian Wilderness Adventures had activated a PLB at Wild Dog Creek. One of the eight clients in a walking group had collapsed and became seriously ill. The group leaders, who had all received wilderness first aid training, were performing CPR on the female (aged 56 years from Victoria).
