Wounding Incident – Man Arrested
At approximately 11:30am today (11 December 2013), police were called to attend a disturbance on Main Road, Rosetta. Upon arrival it was ascertained two men who were known to each other have engaged in a verbal argument. One of the men has smashed the window of a car. The owner of the car has used a pair of scissors to cause a 4cm laceration to the back of the other parties head.

Fatal Motor Cycle Crash – Beaconsfield
At about 11am on Sunday, 8 December 2013 a Honda 600cc motorcycle travelling north on Margaret Street, Beaconsfield has collided with a Holden utility. The 47 year old rider of the motorcycle from Beaconsfield died at the scene.
Arson Related Apprehensions – New Norfolk
At 3:30pm on Saturday 7 December 2013, the Tasmania Fire Service and Police personnel were called to attend a structure fire at Royal Derwent, George Street, New Norfolk. As a result of investigations conducted by the Criminal Investigation Branch and the quality information provided by the local community, the identities of the three people responsible for the arson were quickly established.
