Helicopter crash
At approximately 5pm Thursday 7th February 2013, 4 helicopters were engaged in water bombing on the bushfire at Molesworth. One helicopter, piloted by a 52 year old Hobart man, crashed into a clearing near the bushfire. Huonville PCYC closed
Traffic is again flowing on the Huon Highway. As a result, the Huonville PCYC is no longer operating as a place for motorists to await access.
