Southern District Detectives are investigating a number of business burglaries that occurred overnight on 23rd March 2012.

Police praise the actions of two young girls in responding to a person unknown to them, who offered them a lift last week.
Charges over bottle shop break-in
Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch detectives have recovered the majority of the alcohol stolen from a Newstead bottle shop and have charged a 19 year old Devonport man with the burglary and stealing.

On the 21st March 2012, Detectives from Eastern Criminal Investigation Branch charged a 26 year old Pontville man with Burglary and Stealing.

On Wednesday the 21/3/12 at 11.15pm Launceston C.I.B Detectives intercepted a vehicle on the Bass Highway near Deloraine.
